Pax World Management LLC is seeking a student Information Technology Intern to assist with network documentation, end user issues and server tasks.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Help to document network by developing comprehensive Network Diagram
  • Assist with resolving end user issues amongst the employee base of the company
  • Server tasks required to maintain a 24/7 networking environment
  • Reports to the Information Technology Manager
  • 8 or more hours per week, unpaid

Intern Expected Experiences

  • A broadening of technically applicable knowledge through the support of 50 users in a real world environment
  • A deepening of understanding of servers, their role within a domain and the structure of Active Directory
  • Exposure to Firewalls and their importance in protecting internal network

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Information Technology or similar computer-related degree and must be eligible to receive academic credit for participation in this internship
  • A good understanding of a typical network configuration
  • A good understanding of HTML and web based architecture
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill
  • High integrity, trustworthiness and ethical standards
  • A positive attitude and a desire to further their current skill set
