Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct research on the environmental, social and governance issues that illuminate Pax World’s ESG analysis and principles
- Assist the social research department with research related to sustainable investing
- Reports to the Director, Sustainability Research Department
- 8 or more hours per week, unpaid
Intern Expected Experiences
- A broadening of environmental, social and governance issues of national and foreign companies
- A deepening of understanding of sustainable investing
- Exposure to the operations, rules and regulations unique to the socially responsible mutual fund industry
Qualifications
- Applicants must be college juniors, seniors or graduate students and must be eligible to receive academic credit for participation in this internship
- Course work must include one or more of the following subject areas: Economics, Finance, Environmental Studies, Sociology, Political Science or Business Administration
- Strong interest in sustainable investing and environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues
- Strong interpersonal skills, analytical and oral and written communication skills
- High Integrity, trustworthiness and ethical standards
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, attention to detail
- Sound and accurate judgment
- Proactive, innovative and resourceful
- Positive attitude, team player
