Christopher Brown
Chief Investment Officer
Chris Brown is Chief Investment Officer for Pax World Funds as well as Portfolio Manager for the Pax World Balanced Fund. He has been with Pax World Management LLC since 1998, when he joined the company as Co-Portfolio Manager of the Pax World Balanced Fund. He has served as its sole manager since October 2001 and served as Co-Portfolio Manager for the Pax World Growth Fund from 2006 – May 2011. Prior to joining Pax World, Mr. Brown was a Senior Manager at Fahnestock and Co., Inc., a New York Stock Exchange brokerage firm, from 1987 to 1998, and First Vice President from 1994 and 1998. Mr. Brown also was a Senior Vice President of H.G. Wellington and Co., Inc., from April 1998 to July 2006, where he served as an adviser on separately managed accounts. He is a graduate of the Boston University School of Management with a concentration in finance.
Anthony Trzcinka, CFA
Anthony Trzcinka, CFA, is Portfolio Manager of the Pax World Growth Fund. He is also a member of the portfolio management teams of the Pax World Balanced Fund and the Pax World Global Women’s Equality Fund. Mr. Trzcinka joined Pax World in 2003. He began his career in financial services in 1999. Prior to joining Pax World, he spent over three years at AEW Capital Management as an Assistant Vice President. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts. Mr. Trzcinka is a CFA charterholder and member of the Boston Security Analysts Society.
Nathan Moser, CFA
Nathan Moser is the Portfolio Manager of the Pax World Small Cap Fund. Mr. Moser has been responsible for management of the Fund since its inception in 2008. He joined Pax World in 2008 from Citizens Funds, where he worked for six years, first as an equity analyst and then as portfolio manager. He started his career with John Hancock Funds, where he was an equity analyst. Mr. Moser holds a Bachelor of Science from Babson College, is a CFA charterholder and member of the Boston Security Analysts Society.
Ivka Kalus-Bystricky
Ivka Kalus-Bystricky is Vice President and Portfolio Manager of the Pax World International Fund and the Pax World Global Women’s Equality Fund. Ms. Kalus-Bystricky has been responsible for management of the International Fund since its inception in 2008. She took over management of the Global Women’s Equality Fund on January 1, 2012.
Before joining Pax World, she was a senior portfolio manager at State Street Global Advisors and Barings, where she managed international portfolios. Prior to that, she worked as an equity analyst at Putnam and Independence Investment, where she covered various international market sectors. Earlier in her career, Ms. Kalus-Bystricky returned to her native Czechoslovakia to work on the privatization of various state industries following the collapse of the iron curtain. She also spent several years as a management consultant to companies in Latin America, Europe, Canada and the United States. Ms. Kalus-Bystricky holds a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Harvard University, a Master’s Degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD in France. She speaks five languages.
Mary Austin, CFA
Mary Austin is Vice President and Portfolio Manager of the Pax World High Yield Bond Fund. Ms. Austin has been with the Fund since its inception in 1999. She joined Pax World as an analyst before becoming co-portfolio manager in November 2005 and, ultimately, portfolio manager in 2006. Prior to joining Pax World, she worked for Salomon Smith Barney as a sell-side equity analyst covering small- to mid-cap specialty pharmaceutical and medical technology companies. Ms. Austin was instrumental in bringing many innovative health care companies public. She is a CFA charterholder and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the New York Society of Security Analysts. She holds a Bachelor of Science in public accounting from Pace University.
Bruce Jenkyn-Jones
Bruce Jenkyn-Jones is a Co-Portfolio Manager of the Pax World Global Environmental Markets Fund. Mr. Jenkyn-Jones has been responsible for the management of the Fund since its inception in 2008 and has been a portfolio manager with Impax Asset Management, the subadviser of the Pax World Global Environmental Markets Fund, since 1999. Mr. Jenkyn-Jones holds a Masters of Business Administration from IESE (Barcelona), a Masters of Science in Environmental Technology from Imperial College and a degree in chemistry from Oxford.
Simon Gottelier
Simon Gottelier is a Co-Portfolio Manager of the Global Environmental Markets Fund and has been involved in the Fund since its inception in 2008. Mr. Gottelier has worked at Impax since 2004 and co-manages the Leaders and Water Strategies, as well as selected clients' SRI/ESG products. Mr. Gottelier joined Impax from Veolia (formerly Vivendi) Environment, where he was a Financial Analyst. He began his career in Investment Banking in 1998 at NM Rothschild and subsequently moved to Deutsche Bank where he provided strategic, M&A and financing advice to European and US clients across a broad range of industrial sub-sectors. He has an honours degree in Modern Languages from the University of Bristol.
Hubert Aarts
Hubert Aarts is a Co-Portfolio Manager of the Global Environmental Markets Fund and has been involved in the Fund since its inception in 2008. Mr. Aarts is the Managing Director of Listed Equities and leads Impax's macro-economic research process. Mr. Aarts joined Impax in January 2007 and co-manages the Leaders and Water Strategies. He started his career in the investment industry in 1990. He has extensive experience investing in Pan-European equities as a portfolio manager at MeesPierson and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, where he chaired the European Sector Strategy Group. He joined Impax from Cambrian Capital Partners LLP where he was a partner and portfolio manager of the Curalium fund, and Incremental Leveraged hedge funds. Hubert has a Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration from Maastricht University.
